"If you enjoy small family run hotels then you'll enjoy B&B Gioia! Our room and the bathroom were both impeccably clean, the included breakfast buffet was excellent, with fresh espresso and orange juice. The location is "on the wrong side of the tracks", but very close to the train station and a police station. I felt safe walking with my husband, if I were traveling alone I would just take a taxi. "I arrived in Padova very early and the Al Cason staff got my room prepared with just a short wait for early check-in. I liked being congratulated whenever I tried practicing my Italian with them. It's an easy walk from the train station but more out of the way than I'd thought when booking. "

"I booked two rooms at this hotel, a four bed family room and a twin room. It is a small family run hotel and we were made very welcome. The rooms all have air conditioning, which in July in Italy is a must, en suite bathroom and a stocked fridge with a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Parking is within the grounds of the hotel and this is secured at night, there is also the choice of a secure garage if required at a small additional cost. I would certainly stay at this hotel...

"I do not know if to start with the kindness and professionalism of the staff or the premises themselves which are just amazing. This small boutique hotel is located at a 2 min walking distance from the basilica of saint Antonio and has all the attributes of a 4-star hotel ( although rated only 2, which is definitely not the case), starting from the very modern nicely furnished rooms to the excellent breakfast with pastries coming from the best pastry shop in town, freshly squeezed orange juice...
