"This property is a little gem 2 1/2 blocks from the ocean. The rates were very reasonable for a January visit. The entire place was very clean, with beautiful planters along the drive area, little seating area outside the rooms. My room had a portable fireplace but I believe many of the rooms have built-in fire places. It appears that this was an older business that has been very tastefully updated. "We stayed here as we had a bicycle ride with a group from PG to Pebble Beach. It was convenient, 3 minutes by car to downtown PG and 10 min. walk to beach. Annette at the front desk was so gracious and friendly. The room was clean, bed quite comfortable (and I’m picky). My only issue was thermostat didn’t seem to be working but they had an oscillating electric heater so that worked out fine. Highly recommend for a weekend or overnight stay close to everything."

"The property did not have privacy blinds. The hot water wasn’t turned on until after we asked in the morning. They accommodated a very late check-in superbly. The room was nicely updated. The towels are too few and I had to ask for fresh towels the next morning which they accommodated well. The thermostat was not calibrated and the heater was very loud. Overall a nice place though for the price. Would stay again."
