"I am not sure I describe our trip in words. It was virtually perfect!! When we go home to WV to visit family, we usually stay in a hotel in downtown Charleston. This year we were looking for a unique experience and we hit the jackpot. The whole process was super easy and the owner made it even easier by his willingness to put up with my wide variety of questions, even contacting him while at the property on multiple occasions. The cabin was in great condition, had all the necessary cooking items, we had plenty of room for six adults and two very busy boys under five years old. It had snowed there previous to our visit, then Mother Nature added a few inches while we were there which made the sleigh-riding awesome. I strongly recommend you choose the Serene Mountain Retreat for your next trip to WV. I know it will be as memorable for you and your family as it was for ours!! "

"Super cute, super clean and super cozy! Property owners are very nice and respond quickly. Water is hot, bath tub is deep, has stove with pots and pans to cook or you can drive a couple minutes and be at lots of yummy places to eat. Close to entertainment. If you’re debating staying here or somewhere else just go ahead and come here, you won’t regret it."
