"This was a nice house private house with private and secluded beach access. The house was well appointed but a bit cluttered. Too much furniture and the kitchenware was dated but it had a cozy feel. There was an odd musty smell that with us for the week probably due to the AC leaking and soaking the dining room rug, property manager was alerted and didn’t seem too concerned. We had a nice time and a comfortable stay but the house was priced too high and wasn’t as well kept as pictures showed....

"Wonderful house with everything you could possibly need. Kind and helpful owners. Ask to rent a boat! Bonus-there is great snorkeling on either side of the sweet little pocket beach in front of the house. Sea turtles, a huge ray, tons of sea stars and sea cucumbers, some coral and lots of sea life. If you’re a sheller there are plenty of tulips and bivalves right there in the shallows. The house has everything you could ever need. "We have stayed in Exuma over 15 times in the past decade or so, and Villa Esencia is a GEM. it is clear that the owners took great care in crafting a solid, well-designed, and thoughtful home. The ceilings themselves and light-infused living room is gorgeous. Each bedroom has an en suite. Mattresses and pillows are top notch, and the induction cooktop is awesome! Valerie and Pierre are SO kind, and communicated exceedingly well. We look forward to our return to Villa Esencia. "
