We were there in November, so it was cold in communal areas but room was fine. We had a free upgrade which was nice - however, no lights on in room - opened door and another door to open immediately in front of us, we felt our way in to find a light switch only to find we were standing at the edge of the top of a flight of stairs! "I know that other reviews have said the hotel is dated and old fashioned and it is but it’s not a negative for me. We had a great stay there, breakfast was fine and we were right by a metro stop. Staff all pleasant and helpful. The room was very warm and spacious. The shower was very good.The only negative really is the noise but it didn’t worry us. It’s not really anything the Hotel can change either - the constant sirens and traffic noise when you are situated by a busy road in a large city...

"Our room was lovely and we had windows overlooking the Christmas Market. Property was clean and well cared for. Although a little dated I would stay here again if and when we come back to Brussels. "

"I travel a lot for both work and leisure, but Matthew at the front desk of the Loxton Brussels is easily the most helpful and friendly reception member I have ever encountered. They should write the "reception" manual based on his work. The hotel itself is lovely with large rooms, retro fitted but very clean and everything you could need. 10 mins walk to the Grand Place but away from the noise etc. and 5 mins walks to Brussels Nord station. I would stay there again without hesitation. "
