"Covering pretty much what I need. Staffs are nice. Locations good. Public bath is very good. The only thing is need education/guide how to use facility properly for people from over seas. Very nice bath facility but one day was very dirty water, and I was not able to use a large bath tub, so as other a few Japanese people same time in the bath. "

"Nice hostel in Otaru! Owners are friendly and willing to help out any questions you may have. No kerosene heaters required although there was a small one in my room that I used for a nightstand, not sure why it was there because there was also a wall mounted modern Hitachi ac/heater unit that was quiet and worked perfectly. This was my first hostel stay so the only thing I needed was a larger bath towel that was easily purchased a short walk away. Will be back!"
