"Our extended family of 11 were so lucky to find this home! The house itself is even better than the photos. Our kids/teens loved the guest house and the primary rooms were incredible. Melissa was very easy to work with and addressed any concerns immediately. The maid service was flexible and convenient. Driving to Hacienda Panilla was interesting with rough roads etc, but once inside the gates it was beautiful. "

"This spacious home provided a grounding home base for our adventure to Costa Rica. "The house is spacious, clean, and well equipped. We loved the outdoor shower. Wish we would have known it’s $175 per day to access the beach club for swimming and eating. If you plan to cook at home or don’t mind driving 20-30 mins to Tamarindo the location is fine… it was a little inconvenient to dine out with a small kiddo due to proximity. "This was a beautiful home and one of the cleanest properties we have stayed. There were plenty of towels to use for the pool/beach. There were lots of games and movies available. Walking distance to restaurants although a little too far for us in which we would have to carry our 3 & 1 yr old. Security guard always present and home had additional security doors. We felt safe and had no issues. Would recommend this home."

Playa Avellanas Tree House : Our Beautiful Beach

"The Host Ben is very responsive and kind. I wanted to experience living among the Ticos and we loved it. This place is unique and cozy for the 4 of us girls. There are some minor upgrades needed but we are so easygoing that it was not a bother. We survived a huge thunderstorm and no power for just a couple hours. The property has 2 cats. Also each bedroom has air conditioning and we enjoyed Netflix in the evening. This area is definitely a surf town and several restaurants walking distance....

"A wonderful gem of a resort ideal for total relaxation! Pros: beautiful location on the coast, well-appointed rooms, excellent staff, great dining. This is the perfect place to bring a couple books and spend languid days listening to the ocean. Cons: the resort is VERY far from everything over some tricky roads. It's no exaggeration that a 4X4 is a must- we were there during a long period of rain making travel and/or sightseeing treacherous. It is approximately an hour drive to Tamarindo, probably an hour and a half from the Guanacaste airport. "

Azura Beach Resort - All Inclusive - Adults Only

"The staff and service were excellent. We came at the beginning of the tourist season so we almost had the resort to ourselves. Staff made sure we always were well fed and drink in hand. Truly a gem. Also, fast WiFi was great for the rainy days where we lounged on the deck watching movies. "

"The Hideaway was beautiful, The staff is incredible and so helpful and friendly, the food was delicious!! The only downside was the road to get there was REALLY bad, full of deep potholes. It would be nice if the Hideaway and other properties could divide the cost and lay some rocks, or at least fill the really big holes! Other than that, Perfect!!! "
