"Overall a vey good place. My only problem was that there wasn't a desk in my room. Luckily the staff let me do my work in the sitting out area next to reception and did support me there. "

"Lovely hotel in a good location. Excellent breakfast buffet. Friendly staff. The air conditioning in my room wasn’t working and no one was available to fix it. Fortunately I could open the window without too much disturbance but it would have been nice if they could move my room or fix the problem."

"The Upstairs hotel was a very stylish and fun hotel just steps from the beach. The staff was really friendly and helpful! One small point is if you do book one of the small/cheap rooms, they aren't easily accessible via the lifts. You will need to go down a couple of flights of stairs which can be tough with heavy luggage. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel when staying in Ostend!"

"Great hotel and super situation for the best part of the beach and close to great local bars and nightlife and super restaurants very close including a Mexican 2 minutes away ,all the staff from the man who allowed us to leave our bags in extra early to the friendly girl who let us check in really early ,the bar staff and breakfast staff were also really friendly and the food for breakfast was generous and very tasty and covered many tastes . We had a wonderful few days and want to go back soon...

"Nice hotel on the sea front with car park and a short walk from the center . Clean and tidy , we had a big spacious room , coffee machine , fridge , safe . Only downside it did not hair air-conditioning though it is an old hotel. "
