"This property is great and would have given it 5 stars but it literally requires you 'to hike' to get to the property from the street. Otherwise, it'll cost you a considerable amount of money via the Gornergrat Railway (15 USD every time). This adds up quickly if you decide to visit the town (to eat, shop and etc). Additionally, there is no laundry equipment (washing machine / dryer) available to tenants directly."

"Great property and fairly convenient location. About 10-15 minute walk to Sunnegga lift and about 5 minutes to the bus. Ski locker and boot room adjacent to entrance makes gearing up very straightforward. Property manager very professional and responsive. Only downside was a door lock that didn’t work. Was told that with Easter locksmith not available. Hopefully will be fixed for the next guest. Relatively quiet at night which is better for getting a good night sleep and still just a short...

"The apartment is charming and in the most beautiful spot with views over the island and swimming in the lake from the garden. Stefano could not have been more helpful and provided extensive information to cover every aspect of our stay. The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the town. No aircon but Stefano provided us with fans to cool us at night. We loved our time in Orta - it is a very special place indeed."

"Außergewöhnliche Wohnung mit großartigem Garten und supernetten Gastgebern. Einzig die kleine Kochzeile ist nichts fuer Selbstversorger und die enge Hofeinfahrt eine fahrerische Herrausforderung..Aber, eh, wir sind in Italien, und da sollte man nicht so zimperlich sein. Zumal die nächste Bar und der öffentliche Parkplatz nicht weit sind. "

"The apartment is as described and has all that is needed for cooking relaxing, et cetera The first floor has a beautiful view over the valley. We ate often on the terrace to enjoy the view. "I have to say that I expected this place not to be as nice, the pictures didn't look that good but we booked it because we just wanted a place to sleep with a kitchen for a short stay in Zermatt. As soon as we walked in we got a great feeling to be staying there, the bathroom was very spacious and there was a lot of room for my family of 4 to spread out. We were very close to the train station and near a Denner (supermarket), our street was so cute and it felt like we were in a true Swiss...

"We used the Alpine Apartments for several nights during a bicycle tour. They had a safe, secure bike storage area in each building. Access to the bike path was easy, making trips into town for groceries quite fast. Also close to the train station. Apartments are like new, with a nice kitchen, clothes washing machine, heated drying rack, dishwasher, and large refrigerator. "
