"Positively beautiful views of the lake. You can not be fearful of driving very narrow and switchback roads to be rewarded by the view after. You MUST download the YouTube directions on picking up the key and accessing the garage or you will be lost!!! Finding the location for pickingup the key is a double challenge. "The apartment is like a 1970s time capsule! We were a bit shocked at first, but it is super clean and in great shape. There is a washer if you need it and a kitchen with everything you need. "The photos on the website were absolutely spot on! The apartment was light and bright. Self check in was easy and exactly as described. The situation above Lago Maggiore was breathtaking and even in the rain the view was ever changing. Out of season the local restaurants were not open but a new supermarket in Stresa with a carpark was good for shopping and the apartment was well equipped for cooking. A handy tip - if the hire car company offers to upgrade to a bigger car, turn them down...

"Our lovely and responsive host helped us by picking us up when we couldnt find a taxi.The house was large, very clean with all we needed, in a quiet area of Intra. The house is not in the centre, a 15 -29 minute stroll to the lakefront. Easy parking.The house would especially suit travellers with a car."
