"The vacation cabin was awesome. Wonderful view of the lake. Inside of the cabin had all the amenities. The cabin theme with the fire place was the best so relaxing. Washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher, and full size fridge made it feel comfortable. Over all, I would highly recommend this vacation rental to everyone with kids. Sleeps 6 people and has access to bikes and kayaks with signed wavers. Beautiful dock with swimming ladders, and a fire pit over looking the lake."

"We stayed for a couple days with another couple. Perfect location to meet and hike Paradise area and visit Longmere area. Loved that they had a hot tub after a long day of hiking :-) Place was clean and comfy. The only issue we had was that we hadn't heard how to check in from the property manager but she replied quickly once I texted her number instead of texting within VRBO. Thanks Maddy for sharing Dan's favorite spot!"

"Very clean with comfortable beds. Deer in the backyard and when it got chilly inside, the wall-mounted heaters worked quickly to make it comfortable. Nice dual head shower with lots of water pressure. Location was convenient to our needs like Ashford grocery store, the Copper Creek restaurant and the Park trails. Only 3 negatives: 1. "Nelson's basecamp is truly an incredible cabin. The cabin is set in a private and peaceful area. Surrounded by trees and wildlife. The wood stove kept us really warm all through the night. We loved all the historical pictures and items that are placed throughout the cabin. This place is a true cabin experience! We loved every moment we were here. We will definitely be returning to Nelson's basecamp."
