"We booked this property while taking a trip to the west side to visit family. We originally chose it because it was close to the zoo. The fact that it’s a completely remodeled, period style home was a quirky bonus, until we got there. Every detail was perfect, from the furniture down to music playing when we walked in. We’re already planning our next visit, but without the kids next time. "

"Dont stay here! The place is nice inside, but if you want to sleep, dont stay here. Train tracks are a block away and blare their horns all night long. There were 3 trains alone from 1-1:30am. I asked to cancel my second night stay and get a refund due to the fact that this noise issue is not disclosed in the posting. The cabin was small and cozy (especially for 3 people) but one of the most fully stocked I have stayed in! They thought of everything to make sure you are comfortable. I would definitely stay again!"

"Upon check in we noticed that there was a problem with some of the electrical in the kitchen, upon messaging the host she very quickly responded and helped us attempt to figure it out before her husband came over to help get the problem fixed within the hour. Fantastic communication and a nice downtown area with short walks to multiple restaurants and shopping venues. Very clean and quiet home would definitely recommend!"

The fire pit was the highlight for us and we spent several hours each evening enjoying a fire and smores.
