My stay at Chelsea started fantastically with an exceptionally helpful check-in. The agent offered me an excellent solution because my truck was too tall for underground parking. My room was clean and comfortable. The dining options were not great: self-serve or the bar. My waiter was excellent, but the food was mediocre. I wasn’t sleeping well, and when the fire alarm went off at 4 a.m., I was upset. The 25 and 26 floors had to evacuate by the stairs. Fortunately, I was on the 16th. The alarm and noisy intercom continued for about 40 minutes before the all-clear. It was not the hotel's fault, but the whole event ruined my one-night stay there. In addition, noisy construction work started outside my window at 6:30 a.m. without any warning. I was not impressed.

Ideal location downtown, walking distance to the Eaton centre, great staff and positive vibe overall. They had great breakfast wraps to go for $8 that allowed me to eat quick and get going! Have stayed here over the last 45 years and it keeps getting better!

A very big hotel, our first time staying there and really loved it. Room was nice and quiet, we were able to check in early which was greatly appreciated, and I liked the onsite restaurants, very convenient. So many options there you don't need to leave the hotel. Only thing I would add would be perhaps a Netflix/Youtube channel to the TV, as well as information on what amenities the hotel has as we were unable to find if there was a pool - only found the "family fun zone" waterslide thing, but we were looking for something more for adults and weren't sure if there was anything. Otherwise, loved the stay here and will definitely stay again.

Heating was broken in our room. First complaint was not acknowledged by staff, we were simply provided another blanket. There was literally frost/ice on the INSIDE of the window. Room was nothing special. Doors are thin and sound carries easily, may make it hard to sleep if others on your floor are noisy. Stay was enjoyable but not worth $169 a night.
