I've stayed in many hotels over the years and this one is easily the best one I've stayed in, cleanliness is top shelf, staff are incredibly friendly, dining options are endless, travel to any venue is a short walk or taxi ride away. "I would definitely stay here again. Having the washer/dryer allowed us to pack light on our trip and do laundry as needed. We didn’t plan to cook, but wanted to have the extra space of the seating area. And we ended up using the kitchen area when we brought home leftovers and to keep breakfast food for days we had early morning tours. Fantastic location in Old Montreal. Location is a 2 minutes walk to Notre Dame Basilica and every restaurant we wanted to try was within a 10 minute walk or less. Easy walk to the metro station as well. Sonder was new to me, and I wasn’t sure about the concept. It was great, no trouble accessing the property using the code and had access to extra towels, etc. in lobby if needed. Download the Sonder app and your stay will be easy. I never needed to contact them regarding any issues, so I can’t speak to that. "

"Our experience at Auberge du Vieux Port was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The location couldn’t be more perfect—right in the heart of Old Montreal, steps away from the waterfront, cobblestone streets, and charming local shops and restaurants. The rooms were truly spectacular. Exposed brick walls, beautiful wooden beams, and that classic old-style architecture made the space feel warm, romantic, and full of character. It’s one of those rare places where history and comfort come together flawlessly. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to enhance the overall experience. We left feeling like we had stayed somewhere truly unique and memorable. It was perfect in every way. Highly recommend!"
