"Good comfortable stay. Friendly staff. Good service. Right in the heart of the centre. 8 mins walk to both railway station and bus station. The only reason i have marked 3 stars for cleanliness and condition is due to shower. Both the shower heads were very dirty needs a deep clean and the one of the shower head which was a bit cleaner than the other had low pressure. Was put off taking a shower."

"Received a first class service from Scott at check in. Room fabulous with massive bed. Top floor 7. Plentiful tea and coffee facilities. A lovely quiet night and good quality sleep. Breakfast was good, however mushrooms would have been good to complete the full English. Will be back next year to stay again. "

"found it difficult to regulate the temperature without getting drafts of cold air from the air conditioning. (I do not like air conditioning) On asking I did get a second duvet to have a warm bed but cool room. Toilet cistern kept running and not filling which I couldn't rectify on the last morning. The carpet had a sticky mark outside the bathroom. Staff very helpful and food was excellent."

"Stayed here a few times. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, great location. Had an issue with the TV not working on our last stay, apparently this is an issue across the hotel so would not recommend if a TV is a must for you. "Staff who greeted us were brilliant, they put us in a high floor right next to the lift as I walk with a crutch. I did as K for a low floor but the girl said it was very noisy on the low floors as work was going on outside so they gave us a quiet floor and right next to the lift. Very clean and tidy bedroom"
