Great apartment in great house. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had a little kitchenette which we didn't use but it would have been useful for a longer stay. I have marked you down 1 star on Communications as I could find the information regarding check out time on the last day and it was hard to find it online, it said 11am in one place and 12 noon another. I had to go to the Holiday Inn checkout next door and ask them in person.

The check-in process was confusing as I didn’t know I had to go to the Holiday Inn. Maybe that’s on me as the information could’ve been in an email. However, James at the Holiday Inn got me checked in quickly and was very kind in the process. The apartment suited our needs and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing I can recommend is a fresh coat of paint and some other minor decor changes to spruce the place up a bit.

Filthy apartment, worn down, windows stuck shut and no air conditioning, no bed made up for one of our guests. Staff were really nice and helpful but ultimately the property needs renovating and cleaning. Hairs in the bathroom, sick stains on the bed and roasting hot so no-one slept. Awful night.

Wonderful
It was great. Stayed while passing through, so we were only there one night. Close to food. I can’t remember what we did nearby, but it seemed like a nice place to stay for a couple of days. We were heading from Scotland to London though, so no time for a stop. Only thing we found was that there was no oven. Slightly inconvenient since we bought pizzas to cook. Just saved them for the next place. Oh, we did go to the beach by the castle. That was nice. It was late, so the castle was closed, but we pretty much had the beach to ourselves. It was too cold to get in the water, but it was still so fun!

Absolutely lovely apartments. Really enjoyed it here. My only reason to not give 5 star is the furniture in the apartment needs refreshing. It’s nothing to stop you having a great time but very obviously damaged.

Superb Accommodation & great value
We stayed here for a quick overnighter and was extremely impressed with the apartment. It was well presented, modern and immaculately clean, had a fridge, microwave and welcome pack which served us well. We brought our dog and there was plenty of space for all three of us to move around because the apartment was so large. Plenty of parking available at the Holiday Inn next door and we had breakfast there too which was handy. Used the metro to get into 'toon' and it was only a 3 minute walk away. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

Having an aparthotel worked well for a week's stay, it gave more room than a hotel room and the option to self cater, access to a washing machine and dryer were also helpful. Despite it being on a main road there wasn't traffic noise in the room I was in however the air con and heat recovery unit on the external wall by the bed head were loud all night. Staff said they would look into this when I reported the issue on departure. Staff were very friendly and helpful

The suite is somehow associated with the Holiday Inn next door and the staff there were very helpful and accommodating. Having a good initial experience with the Holiday Inn our expectations of the suite next door were high. The location is very good with easy access to the trendy and lively Jesmond and Gosforth, the moor and also the Metro centre. Parking was also useful and free for guests. Sadly the room itself let the experience down. It is a good size space with a business desk and small kitchen. However the room was poorly maintained and very tired making lots of it unusable, eg the business desk was broken, the eating table had no chairs, the safe was not attached to anything. The room was quite knocked about and needed lots of low level maintenance to get it up to standard and definitely needed a new carpet and decor to refresh it to the standard it could be. I was concerned about security as the fire door right outside outside the room was continuously left open into a rear alleyway car park with no CCTV. The room door and French doors did not appear that secure either.
