"Bestwood Lodge is a very old building in need of investment but for me that’s part of its charm. On the run up to my function I felt there was a bit of casualness around arraignments however on the night everything was spot on the staff were brilliant from the manager down the buffet food was spot on the venue DJ (Kes) was absolutely brilliant my accomadation was spot on. All in all my experience was very good and I would definitely use Bestwood Lodge again. "

"I booked the wrong date by mistake and the hotel reservations manager sorted this out straight away and was very helpful. We checked in to our room and it was freezing. I called reception and they sent a staff member up to try and rectify. Again she was really helpful but unfortunately it didn't fix the problem, they allowed us to move rooms. "The hotel is conveniently located near the castle and city center activities. Breakfast includes a full English as part of the buffet. The hotel could use some updating but the staff & service were excellent. Parking is a challenge- be sure to drop your bags at the hotel first!"
