They type the number into their system, which I was uncomfortable with but the staff showed me the number became masked after manual entry"

"The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was decent but at night we saw large roaches/waterbugs in the eating area due to the windows being open. Did not see them during the day nor while eating. The rooms did not have wifi although staff said it did. Room was very tight, cable continuously interrupted and we had to unplug box and take out card multiple times to watch tv, most stations in Portuguese and room was not very clean. Towels and sheets had stains after being washed...

"Well, it is not the cleanest hostel but it will do. The sheets were stained. The night stand was broken and one outlet had wires hanging out. My shower flooded the first time I used it. Staff did fix it right away though. The staff does plan out activities and were generally helpful. I came down with food poisoning one day and one staff member went above and beyond to look after me. He even made me food but I was ready to eat. Most of the other guest spoke Portuguese or Spanish, so don’t rely...

"Ambiente maneiro , bem localizado , mais não consegui dormir bem , pois o quarto compartilhado estava muito quente , sai durante a madrugada diversas vezes para poder me referescar na recepção que estava bem geladinha. O atendente na primeira vez que eu sai do quarto , me ofereceu o controle do ar do quarto para poder ajustar , mais quando da segunda vez em diante que sai , ele ficou ciente , que o problema era no ar condicionado, pois eu sai diversas vezes para me refrescar .
