"I booked this break for my wife's big birthday. We stayed for 2 nights on B&B basis. The hotel looked very festive when we arrived as all the Christmas trees had been put up and decorated. The reception area looked lovely. We had a quick, smooth check-in and were advised of opening times for dining and the spa facility. "Our room was clean and tidy on arrival, few paint chips noticed around the room, especially in bathroom and on bathroom door, these are easily fixed and should be done prior to any guests arrival. More pillows should be available if needed, as my partner felt two were not sufficient to accommodate her sleep. TV in room had infrequent digital reception and the remote control does not allow full access to all of the TV, the TV itself is also very dated and does not have internet access...

"Excellent as always. This has been my go to hotel when travelling to the area for the past 15 years. The only criticism is that breakfast is maybe lacking a little. The continental choice should have fresh croissants and a slightly better all round selection. Apart from that minor criticism I would definitely recommend the Barnham Broom"

"Had a great stay. Breakfast was great and the one meal we had was delicious. I'm a coeliac and they were very helpful. Had a delicious icecream sundae for pudding. The staff were amazing .Kieran and all the girls were lovely. We've stayed a few years and have noticed room's have gone a bit tired and bathroom needs regrouting . But a lovely stay as always. Can't say enough how great the staff are. "
