"The hotel was incredible. The staff were all wonderful - super helpful, spoke English well and were very helpful with everything we needed. The location is in a quite area but a short 10 minute walk to downtown and just a few steps away from the subway (connected to Kyoto Station). It was clean and comfortable, the lobby has complimentary tea, coffee and snacks 24 hours and free bicycle rental. The room is small like all in Japan but it was laid out in a comfortable way and you have anything you could ask for - shower is amazing. The only little downside for us was the pillows were very firm, and note that the bed itself is also quite firm and not bouncy or soft if you prefer that. All in all, wonderful experience - highly recommend."
