"Beautifully situated on a bluff overlooking the Blanda River. Could see and hear it from our # 25 cottage. Large windows bringing the sunshine in. Close to everything in town such as grocery store etc. "

"Perfect location close to the water and walkable to the main shopping area and restaurants within 5 minutes on the flat (which was ideal in the ice/snow as the hills looked slippery) The hotel has been beautifully decorated, the included breakfast was great and the basic double room was plenty big enough. Will be recommending to anyone I know if they travel to Akureyri. "
