There are lots of places to go to, but you’ll have to drive by the mountains which all had mostly paved roads.The room itself is clean. "I had the double room. It is very basic, a bed, a small table with 2 chairs, 2 bedside tables, a bin, a mirror on the wall and some hooks for hanging clothes. The bed was very comfortable, you can adjust the heating to your liking so my room was always comfortably warm. "I would strongly recommend this hostel to anyone traveling in Akureyri! It is far and away the best hostel I've ever stayed in (and honestly closer to a hotel than most). The common areas are kept meticulously clean, and are decorated beautifully. The kitchen is fully furnished with multiple cooktops, fridges, and sinks.
