"The propriety was great with one exception. It was very hot and stuffy. The rooms are regulated for the whole building and the whole building was hot and stuffy. The front desk provided an extra fan and told us to open the window but there were huge bugs everywhere so we left windows closed and opted for fans instead "

It was the perfect location in town, as we could walk everywhere from the hotel to shopping, restaurants, Geosea, & whale watching. The staff was also incredibly friendly. Husavik was our favorite stop on Ring Road & this hotel contributed to that."

"We love Myvatn! The view you can find there is the most wonderful. This hotel is within a short walk to all the trails to enjoy the majestic view. The dining options are very good. We enjoyed our dinner at the hotel. Because of the midges, we couldn't open our window and the room got a little stuffy. Other than that, everything is great."

"June 2024 Absolutely phenomenal and immaculately clean 3 bedroom, 2 bath cottage~ fully equipped with microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, hot tub with back out shades, modern design/vibe, tranquil setting overlooking farm with beautiful Icelandic horses. Large living room area with huge flat screen smart tv with Amazon, Hulu, Disney +, and Netflix. Large cozy sectional couch in family room that could easily sleep multiple guests. Perfect stay for our family of 4. Highly recommend! "

"Charming, little, hotel, right by the sea. The exterior is a bit unassuming, maybe even a bit uninviting but the interior renovations have lots of personality. Room was comfortable and well appointed for its size, and the restaurant churned out tasty food. I would critique the pricing a bit, based on the location (Blonduos isn’t exactly a bustling tourist hub) and that while tasty, the food pricing was in-line with 4-star hotels in Myvatn and Vik, and the elevated presentation didn’t fit the...
