"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The garden was beautiful and so relaxing. The cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. So close to the Headlands, shops and grocery store. The Host and Hostess were a delight to get to know and their knowledge of Mendocino - historically. We will definitely come back."

"When we drove up to the house, we were excited by the view of the ocean and the many sea stacks. The house has lovely art and overall is just beautiful. Some of the Russian artwork brought about interesting conversations. We loved Agate Beach, and Just hanging in the front yard. The Trinidad Retreat Contract is extensive and I found them to be formal. Overall it was a great vacation. "

"Place is much bigger than it looks in the photos. Nicely set up outside of town. I almost gave the overall rating 4 stars because the beds were very soft. I prefer firm, but I’m also a very sensitive sleeper, so that may not be the case for others. It is as very clean and quiet. Host was an excellent communicator! "

"You can't beat the environment. It's in the middle of the redwoods. Each cabin-like room has big trees close by. The room is cute, like an antique; if this is your type of thing you probably would like it. However, it's quite old. The bathroom tube makes screeching noise (thankfully just for a minute or two) when first using faucet; the heater has a loud noise (dropping of water?) in the middle of night which woke us up. So we decided to turn the heater off -- it wasn't very cold that night,...
