I explained that if they could accommodate us, the room did not have to have a canal view. The staff told us to continue with our plans and when we return, stop by the desk for new keys. Although the hotel offers a shuttle service, it only goes to San Marco Square, so reaching other tourist attractions requires taking a public water taxi, which consumes a lot of time."
