"As a family of 5, our overall stay at Mimaru Kyoto was great. The location was walkable to many areas we wanted to look at during our stay which was convenient and close to bus stops for the sightseeing that was a little further away. The combined washer/dryer in the room was a godsend, I would put it on most nights when we went to bed and wake up to clean dry clothes. "This place is a 3 story building with mini apartments that allow you to cook for yourself. Plenty of roomand amenities in the apartments. The only downside was the host, unless it's a (Japanese/Kyoto thing that I don't understand). He was quite grumpy and didn't seem to want to either interact with us, or even be there at all. This is reflected by the interesting staffing hours of the reception and check-in instructions. A minor mark, otherwise, very good. "

Its in a great location and is close to public transportation. The room was clean, spacious and had everything you could need in a hotel room. Very happy with this pick"
