"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka! The hotel was really nice and after getting used to the traditions, we loved going to the sento/Trinite baths every day. It's a bit of a walk from the Osaka train stations, but in January we were still able to stay underground for almost all of the eay there. Fair warning - when visiting the Umeda underground routes be ready to be lost as it's very convoluted and busy, so it's easy to get confused. The hotel and staff on the other hand made the stay fantastic."

"We loved our room because it was spacious, quiet and clean. The beds and pillows were too hard for us, but everything else was great. The location was very convenient for taking the train or metro and it was close to great restaurants and shopping. The amenities at the hotel were great, especially the breakfast buffet which was tasty and had lots of variety. We would stay here again."
