"The owner is very nice and friendly. Quiet location. There are many shops and restaurants if you have a car. Each room has air cond, but the house itself is cold in winter and I hesitated to take a shower. Instead we went to nearby onsen to get warm."

Parking is only 500 yen (~$3.75), and is on-site, but is an automated garage, so you need to take everything you might need with you as it is a hassle to get anything out of your car until the next morning. "The hotel is closed to the JR station and it has the option for 3 beds room. There is also luggage storage service. The only drawback for 3 beds room is that it is located on the 1st floor so there is no window in the room. Other than that, everything else is great. "

As we had larger vehicles we felt it safer to park in the paid parking lot rather than on the spots directly off the street which we may have stuck out of a little ($5 a night). "Stayed for 6 nights. Room was slightly larger than average, able to fit 2 medium sized luggage. Window is able to open to allow fresh air, and air-conditioning was powerful due to it's a personal unit (not centralised). Plus was in room washer & dryer unit and microwave. Downside is: - Beside train track - South side of JR Hakata Stn., quiet neighbourhood with nothing much around hotel. Highly recommended. Will be back again. "

"The staff is so nice and helpful. Helped me to carry all the items to lobby and communicate to the taxi driver. They give a bag of clean towels on the non-cleaning day. The view is fantastic that you can see the city and sea. Close to the main shopping centres and public transport "
