"Hotel staff are extremely polite and helpful. Marble decoration everywhere. Room was big with a good view of the center of Ho Chi Minh city. Although it is not a recognizable American brand of hotels, it is better. It is right in the center of the city where all activities happen. Since this hotel was built many years ago, some area are dated. However, hotel staff keep everything clean. Breakfast is the best in town for tourists. Will definitely return. "

"Sherwood was a great hotel. We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite and it was perfect. Washer AND dryer in suite. Lots of space and great toiletries. The staff at the reception work throughout the night for anyone checking in or out late and early. We had a 5am flight home so needed to check out at 2am, staff were there, friendly and quick to help us. Was the perfect spot to end our trip, close enough to the hustle and bustle but far enough that it wasnt too crazy around the hotel. We were also about 10 minutes from the airport when there was no traffic. "

"Enjoyed our stay here. Staff were friendly and welcoming, hotel was very clean and bright. The hotel location is perfect if you want to be right where the Saigon district 1 action is. Located right across from Nguyen Hue walking street, and close to Saigon Centre and many shopping areas. Lots of street food, restaurants, and cafes all around the area. Maybe a tad noisy for some people, but for us it wasn't that bad at all. Great view from the room, not much action during the day but at night you can see everyone at Nguyen Hue walking street. We've stayed at other (and more expensive) hotels in the area but for the value, location, convenience, I'd say this is our new favorite hotel. Highly recommend this hotel, we'll also be back if we're ever in Saigon again!"
