"I think the valet parking was a bit pricy and there was no choice. I would have perferred to have parked myself and saved the $45 a day. "Overall the stay was nice and it is a cute hotel with interesting decor. The building was clean and the ataff was great. The doors to many of the rooms however are warped creating considerable gaps at the top or bottom. I was able to remedy this to a degree by locking the door but the aforementioned warping made it difficult."

"I have been staying at Americana’s Cup Inn for several years. I can’t recall any problems and the location is prime with all of the restaurants, shops, and bars at your fingertips. The staff is extremely friendly and the continental breakfast is everything you could ask for. The rooms are a bit older, but very clean and stocked with extra towels/water. "It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"Our stay in Newport was very comfortable in the three bedroom, two bath space. The kitchen and living room were just as pictured and in great shape. Parking across the street was a great bonus. The third bedroom (downstairs) was very spacious, but a bit drafty since it opened to an unheated storage area and outside. The second bath shower was tiny for my 6'3" frame. Great restaurants, and coffee shops close by. Chris is a wonderful host."
