Host was friendly and flexible with our check-in time. The stay was overall fine. Neighborhood is quiet and nice, very close to supermarket and couple blocks from the subway. The room you stay in is basically in their downstairs basement. You have to walk through their bonus room to access your bathroom, which was fine since the family remained upstairs during our visit and we didn’t really see them.
I wish the curtains were darker so we didn’t have bright street lights directly in our face while sleeping. It is not a traditional bed and breakfast where the host makes you breakfast everyday. They just stocked the kitchenette with cereal, milk, and ingredients for PB&J sandwiches. This felt a little misleading as we basically had to buy breakfast every day (since they had provided no fruit or anything healthy/filling).
The bathroom was worn with tiles missing, but still totally functional and fine. They have hair dryers, towels, etc.
