"Our short stay at Hotel Mifujien and Kawaguchiko was wonderfull. The room had a breathtaking view of Fuji-San, plenty of space and gave us a proper traditional Japanese experience. "It was very fun to be so pampered and taken care of. As soon as we arrived, the staff were there ready to pamper us. One of the ladies spoke English, and was very helpful in navigating our first stay at a Ryokan. Dinner was very fun. The onsens were an exciting new experience as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it."

"A quiet hotel with only 13 rooms. Room is big and very comfortable, with outdoor onsen. Location is approximately 20 mins walk to Lake Kawaguchiko and train/bus station. The hotel provides pick-up from the station upon check-in and sends you to the station when check-out. Ample parking lot if you are renting a car. Lawson next to hotel and bus stops are nearby. Very friendly staff. They even have a Starbucks coffee machine in their lounge. I would definitely stay there again."

"Very nice and friendly staff. Everyone greets you as you walk by. The negative is that neither of the non-reserved outdoor baths have a locker to put our valuables. Some of the wood in the baths are a little slippery as well. Otherwise we had an amazing stay and I’ll come again."

"This hotel was nice and had some great amenities, but it is located pretty far from the train station and it seems the buses in the area stop running at 6:30 pm. Most businesses (like restaurants) also close around this time, so at least you can enjoy the onsen in the evening when there’s not much else to do!"
