"The traditional room was remarkable. I love the floor sleeping. The place has a nice public onsen. If you are into manga the owner has a huge collection to check out. Also there is a massage chair in the lobby that I recommend for after your bath. This place is tucked back off of the main road so it is quiet. "I chose this ryokan since it was the only reasonably priced one in the Nara area. It has a beautiful garden just outside our room and the room itself was comfortable and large. The only downside to the place was the strong smell in the room and the cockroach that I had to kill as it crawled across the room."

"ホテルの顔である玄関の自動ドアの電源が切れてて、手動を強要してる。 Wifiが使えるか聞いたら、ロビー近くしか使えないといわれた。にも拘わらず部屋にランケーブルも無ければ、言わないと貸してくれない。大荷物持ってるのに階段でどうぞ！と言われた。（エレベーターもあるのに） 部屋の鍵が解りにくいのに説明なし。（鍵を回しながらドアを押さないと開かない）ホテルの門限23時。 歴史的には有名な地である点と川の中州に建てられたホテルなので景色は良いけど、何もなくて不便だった… フロントも居たり居なかったり、呼び鈴を押すタイプ。 愛想は悪くなかったけど、シルバー人材センターのアルバイトって感じだった。 掃除はよくされてたけど、施設は古く快適とはいいがたかった… 眺望は良かったけど、リピートはしないな。"

"The property seems to be recently updated, it is modern, and clean. The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. Also the road to access the property is quite narrow...
