"This is a quiet and well kept property. Plenty of room to find a quiet space to relax by the river. A private dock to launch a kayak, swim or tube. The view was great . All amenities for outdoor activities were setup like Volleyball and badminton. Also a nice fire pit with plenty of outdoor seating. Get your own wood . Tiki torches were set up but you have to bring your own fuel also. We brought our own kayak. The kitchen was equipped with all pans and utensils to cook and a great big grill...

"I live in Oregon but grew up and went to college in Maine. I rented Peter and family’s place a few weeks ago to spend some family time with my parents and brothers and my college friend. This was my favorite southern Maine VRBO rental. Beautiful, spacious and clean and we had an amazing time staying here. Well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and amenities. Flawless communication with the owner. I will absolutely rent this home again. Thank you Peter and family! -Kevin"

"The rental did not have a king-sized bed as advertised. (I even specifically asked beforehand and was reassured that it did.) There weren't any hot mitts or kitchen towels. Two of the bedrooms are missing blinds and the sprayer for the kitchen sink does not work. Upon arrival we found a bottle of Advil propping open the window in the bedroom with bunk beds. This is unsafe since we had young children with us. The amenities mentioned spices and a baby gate, but those could not be found....
