"I would like my committed money back from this location. A local taxi cab driver could not find it. When he found it, he left us there. No one answered the door. No one answered the call. No one answered. We were left in a precarious position in the evening with no place to stay. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and I have a very flexible, mind and travel mindset, we eventually stated a nearby hotel on the river, which seemed like something Expedia would end. "Came back a second night. Since we were still in the area another night. The new front staff were good. Bedding room and bathroom were all clean. Room was still what I would call old/dated but well kept. Just not the carpet. Carpet was well stained, old and thread bare in places."

"Beautiful new hotel next to Inuyama castle and Japanese garden. Nice onsen, friendly staff. Just didn't like how I got room upgraded. All reception people seems like not knowing about there are VIP benefits. Finally we got upgraded room, then we found dirty tissue inside toilet. But all other things were perfect. Amazing breakfast, Inuyama castle view from everywhere in hotel "

JR WEST GROUP VIA INN NAGOYA EKIMAE TSUBAKICHO

"This property was very close to the train station and surrounded by a host of food options as well as shopping of all sorts from clothing to electronics. Our room was clean and the space was big enough to move around and enjoy but not so large as to be in excess. We really loved the bath/shower in our room. It’s the first time I had that kind of a shower. The shower area was separate from the tub where you stand outside of the tub to shower. It was amazing. The staff was friendly and attentive and left nothing for want. The room was outfitted with an electric kettle and all the coffee, cream/sugar, tea, wash cloth, etc. was available in the lobby, take whatever you need/want. I liked the concept. We made use of the laundry facilities and it was very simple and easy to use. The machine was an upright with wash/dry capability all in one. Soap was also included with the price as it automatically dispensed it. We used the max time for wash/dry which cost 500 yen. A electric lock was also part of the fee which secured our clothing, allowing us to set it and forget it, coming down from our room when time was completed. I have no fear of staying in another Via Inn property if this is an example of what the other properties are like. Thank you!"

Excellent!

"I had an amazing stay. I took a room on the ladies-only floor and it's great (extra security door that opens with your room card if you have a room on that floor). First time trying the public bath, I was concerned about my belongings but there are lockers (with keys) to store your towels, clothes etc. while you take the bath. The hot bath helped heal some muscle strains I had from walking and traveling a lot with a heavy luggage. I would stay again in this hotel if I come around Nagoya again!"

"We live our stay here. The rooms were spacious and clean, and felt luxurious. Staff were great, and the hotels location was a ten minute walk from the main station and shops, yet it was still quiet and relaxed in the area around the hotel. And there were great food options located close-by. While we didn’t eat at the hotel we can attest that there coffee was excellent and we recommend making sure you get your morning coffee here"
