"This was one of the best stays I've had recently. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our experience great. We ordered room service and it arrived with a smile and a special treat. The traditional rooms were very clean and were lovely. The hot springs Onsen were great. We had 2 reserved times for our room and enjoyed a private indoor/outdoor experience. "

"The private onsen was a godsend! Lovely view of Mt Fuji and Hakone Shrine from the apartment. Outdoor foot bath was fantastic too. The kitchen was well-equipped and the dishwasher was a welcomed bonus for us. Even though the property was unmanned, the staff was extremely responsive and helpful when we had problems accessing the projector. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel was my favorite out of the 4 we stayed in during our Japan trip. The beds were comfortable, bathroom had all we needed and the balcony gave us the most amazing view in the morning, definitely get a room facing the water and mountain. We could see the Pirate ship as well from our room. I loved that the booking came with buffet meals- fantastic options. I loved our stay in Hakone and this hotel. They even had a feared outdoor foot bath to rest your feet after walking. You could use there onsen or book a private one. So many extras on the property. Just an overall amazing stay during our trip."

"Amazing view of Mt Fuji. Decent hotel and some staff that spoke English. LOVED the Onsen. I wish we stayed one more night. BUT fyi…my husband got bug bites after lying on the floor (for his back). The rest of us didn’t. Lovely hotel though. Will come back!"
