"I didn’t go to Myoko to sit in a hotel room, so this place was perfect. Comfy beds in a small room. Very dorm room style. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is great. I had a burger one night that was amazing. Great onsen too. I liked it but don’t think your getting luxury.. "

"Country Inn Canadian House exceeded our expectations; it is classy and down to earth. Masao and Yasuko are fabulous hosts. Meals were nutritious and delicious. All rooms/facilities were comfortable and clean. Masao provided shuttles to and from town, the slopes, and the train station. We would definitely stay there again. "

"ゲレンデ内にあるロッジですが、結局リフト券を買うために一度ゲレンデから出る必要があるため、ゲレンデ内にある意味はありません。むしろ不便です。雪が降っていると、圧雪も除雪もされていない雪の中を長い時間歩く必要があるため、街へ出かけるのも一苦労です。施設自体は値段相応ですが、スタッフの方は皆さま対応が良かったです。"

"Akakura Onsen is a small town and everything is fairly close by but thanks to the hotel we enjoyed discounts to renting the ski equipment at the shop nearby. We also enjoyed private use of the onsen for half hour each day and the English-speaking hotel stuff was super friendly and helpful."

"My wife and I enjoyed our 3-night stay at hotel Taiko. The hotel employees were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is only a short walk to the kumado ski base. The hotel pickup drop off service was great. We gave the hotel our train’s arrival time and the driver met us with a van when the train arrived! No waiting in the cold!
