Cannot fault the location if you’re coming for the Rijksmuseum or Van Gogh, although Amsterdam is a such a small city using the public transport (tram and bus stops less than 2 minutes away) or walking are all easy options. The hotel room is very dark with limited lights, it also has a weird set up with a table connected to the bed, made it feel smaller. "This hotel has the right balance of price and quality which we haven't been lucky enough to find in our previous two trips. The staff were welcoming, and struck great conversation with guests when passing each other in corridors which gave the stay a personal feel. There are also two cats in the hotel which are a pleasant surprise when you first see them!"
