"We stayed here for two nights for our anniversary trip away and cannot recommend Hotel Deutsche Eiche enough! The Suite was beautiful, really spacious and fantastic amenities. It's in a great location, with lots of restaurants nearby and less than a five minute walk to the Viktualienmarkt. The staff were really welcoming and chatty. The rooftop bar was a great addition too with views over Munich. "

"The hotel was conveniently located about a 10-minute walk from the train station. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was soft and very comfortable. The young Australian lady at reception was extremely friendly and helpful. She recommended a restaurant for schnitzel and it was one of the best and largest schnitzels I've ever had. Staff such as her make stays more enjoyable at hotels. I would definitely stay here again"

"The unusual decor is what first attracted me to the Cocoon. The Alps adventure theme was compelling. The elevator simulated a gondola ride up the mountains! The location was ideal - convenient to Munich's main train station. The 'green' features, such as the need to use your room card to have lighting, were not explained at check-in. I suspect that this was partly due to a language issue. Overall, Cocoon was a good choice for a visit to Munich."
