"Two Very good restaurants close by but not much beyond that. Being right across from the train station was excellent, very convenient. Museums and historical attractions were not nearby. Very friendly people on the hotel staff. The mixed neighborhood was crowded but delightful as we mingled with folks busy doing their everyday tasks. A nice experience. "

"The unusual decor is what first attracted me to the Cocoon. The Alps adventure theme was compelling. The elevator simulated a gondola ride up the mountains! The location was ideal - convenient to Munich's main train station. The 'green' features, such as the need to use your room card to have lighting, were not explained at check-in. I suspect that this was partly due to a language issue. Overall, Cocoon was a good choice for a visit to Munich."

"We stayed for 4 nights. It is in a very busy neighbourhood, the street side is quite busy so if you sleep with the window open it can be a bit disruptive, but when it was closed it was fine. The room was great, bed is comfy. The hotel is a short walk to the train station and not far from Marianplatz. "We stayed in the suite, and it was gigantic by European hotel room standards. We loved it! The only downsides were the area around it was not terrible, but not great.
