The historic center of the city is walkable as well, if that's your preference. It's easy to find, although not on a main thoroughfare. "The property is not at the location listed on Expedia and we had to contact the property through the cleaning staff to find the correct address which took about an hour. The actual hotel itself is nice, but the process to get there was not great. If the address is corrected on the site or if the address is clearly provided in the check-in instructions, I would highly recommend this hotel."

"We stayed at this Gasthof because we were visiting Linz and waited too long to book. I'm happy we discovered this location - the countryside is beautiful and the overnighting was convenient and comfortable. The breakfast was definitely the best part :) The room was clean and comfortable, no complaints about the service. We did notice a bit of commuter traffic on the weekday morning, but it was not bad. If you can ask for a room near the back, you might not notice at all. Again, no complaints....

"Our stay was perfect! Our kids (8,6 and 4) had a blast with all the animals - Guinea pigs, bunnies, new kittens. Anita was a fantastic hostess. She always had suggestions for us of things to do in the area. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. It was such a relaxing and lovely place. A fantastic swing on the top of the hillside, a pool overlooking the valley. They even built a fire for us one night. The history of the house is amazing. They have put so much work into it over the years. Definitely...
