"I was actually surprised when we arrived! Motel is kept clean and the surrounding area is decent! Definitely Safe for family of all ages. Would stay here again! Price is great!!"

"Recently remodeled clean comfortable. The Red Roof is next door it had very loud rowdy guests don’t stay there. There airport is close but never bothered us. This place is animal friendly and I’m a cat so this always is a plus 😸. With my ebikes you are only 5 minutes to Fisherman’s Wharf or downtown. Monterey Fish house is a good restaurant and many more walking distance from your room See ya Ryder_brewery _cat"

"Signs of wear and tear on end tables and cabinets but overall, a good and pleasant stay. Sheets, towels, utensils and the cottage as a whole were clean and comfortable. The gas fireplace in the cottage and the gas fire pit on property were easy to turn on ( just flip a switch) and a nice cozy touch. The butterfly sanctuary is a 4 to 5 min walk away, but be careful, the neighborhood is nice and safe but there are no defined sidewalks. "

"This property is very well maintained. It is super clean with really nice amenities. It had a nice little pool and a pretty outdoor lounge for guests. Really nice furniture and bathroom fixtures. Very reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The Pelican Inn is a great place to stay. Walkable to downtown and the wharf. Staff is great and really knowledgeable about the location. One of the better cheaper hotels in the area and my go to when I stay in Monterey. "

"We had a great 3 day stay here! The views were amazing and we watched the sunset comfortably from the living room. It would've been nice to be able to open windows and hear the ocean as well, but that's minor. There was plenty of space to spread out, prep food, eat together, etc. We didnt get to use the grill or firepit, but that looked like a fun place to relax. We were close to so much and traveled to/from comfortably. We took some nice walks along the beach path, just steps outside the home....
