But be aware that a big apartment complex is being built next door, with trucks and caterpillars starting to rumble around shortly after 7 in the morning. "Estrella del Norte was just that. An amazing stay, the villa was in great condition. Nina was beyond fantastic with her service and her cooking. She went above and beyond for everything. We would def stay here again. I do suggest that if you go in the wetter or colder month to have a 4x4 vehicle as the roads are not the best and the location of the house has a few steep slopes. "The property is exactly as it looks from the picture. The view takes your breath away. Giovanny is really responsive and we got all the help we needed. The location is really convenient, close to small shops and restaurants. Juan Dolio is not as developed as other areas in the DR but it is ideal for families or if you are looking to relax and regenerate. Really happy with my experience."
