We really enjoyed the private hot tub in our traditional tatami room. As for the kaiseki dinner, it was delicious but I wasn't prepared for the sheer amount of food! I am not a very big eater (at night) and the successive services impressed me a lot! I think it would have been a suitable amount of food for 3 people. Unfortunately for me, I couldn't make it to the end and ended up wasting some of the meal. As I know Japanese etiquette requires you to finish every thing so as to not waste, I felt bad for a while after. 申しわけありませんでした! Hakone was a quiet moment to ourselves, nestled between Kyoto and Tokyo during our trip. We had a lovely time, thank you!"

"Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Breakfast was great, lots of choice. My wife is a vegetarian so not quite as good a choice as it was for me.but still good. Hotel views are amazing. Close to Sakuragicho station and Minatomirai station. Yokohama is so underrated. As far as I'm concerned keep it that way. It's part of its charm. Would love to go back. Would definitely stay at this hotel again."
