"Although on the 4th floor of the building, you enter the apartment at street level. There is a great view of the beach and sea. The apartment is spacious with a modernized kitchen and bathrooms. The pool was uncrowded and quiet. Both the pool and beach areas had plenty of lounge chairs. The children found toys at the beach level they were allowed to use in the sand."

"We really enjoyed our stay at La Jolla for our 2 weeks. The condo and building inside and out were by far the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in. The numerous staff were constantly cleaning, painting, and gardening. The condo itself was great, up until 3 days before we were leaving when a valve cracked inside the toilet tank in the master ensuite. We had got hold of the owner, and someone (not the condominium staff) was supposed to come and fix it, but no one showed up before we checked out. Luckily...

"The property was adequate, amazing views are available. The steepness of the location was a major factor for us as we are in our upper 60's with health issues. Having your own car would have helped us to get back up the mountain instead of using a taxi each time. One problem we discovered was the noise from the beach resort activities resonating up the mountain. The pool was a huge benefit to the property. "La Jolla is a small condo complex sitting up above beach level. There are stairs that lead to the small, quaint beach where you can have food, massages, rent kayaks/paddle boards, or hire out a boat excursion. We love it here. The one restaurant on property is excellent but isn't open year round. You might have to navigate a couple flights of stairs depending on condo but they were working on extending the elevator when we were there last."

"Food and drink at the restaurant are great. The little market has a great selection of drinks and snacks. Watching the sun set from the balcony every night is priceless. "
