"Every year we take a trip specifically for our dogs around memorial day. We love the Blue Ridge/Mineral Bluff area because it's such a dog friendly place. This cabin was perfect for us! It was easy to get to and easy to check in. Patrick was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was clean and beds were comfortable. There was even a dog bed our dogs loved so much that I bought one when we got home. Our dogs absolutely loved playing in the creek. We experienced a good bit of rain and storms while we were there, so the creek was too high and rough for them to play a couple of days. But even with the rain, we enjoyed sitting on the screened-in porch and relaxing. We have high energy German Shepherds, and there was PLENTY of land for them to run and play, especially around the pond. We would love to stay here again next time. "

"The house is beautiful with enough activities to appeal to our eight adult grandchildren and one teenager. My adult children enjoyed the beauty and relaxing spaces on the first floor. The kitchen was well equipped and the views from the deck were spectacular. It was close enough to Blue Ridge if anyone wanted to shop or checkout the town but there was enough at the house that no one felt the need to spend much time away. It was a perfect place to relax."

"Our family gathering of 11 had a great experience at the Greystone Lodge. The location is high up a winding road. It is quite a drive from Blue Ridge but the spectacular view is worth it. The lodge itself does not disappoint with beautiful interior, high end natural materials, nice furniture and an all Viking kitchen. The deficiencies noted by earlier reviewers have been mostly corrected: plenty of kitchen implements and hot pads. The HVAC unit in the fifth bedroom above the garage worked well. There is a dual function coffee maker, both drip and Keurig. Minor problems we had were promptly addressed after we messaged the host. Our kids greatly enjoyed the pool table in the garage which converts to ping pong. Do note that the dining table seats only 8, and there is no bar or breakfast area seating. We made do with folding chairs. All in all we recommend this property."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Divided Sky in Mineral Bluff! The cabin was beautiful and cozy, enough space to spread out and plenty of amenities to enjoy! Helen was the perfect host. We will definitely be booking here again for the gorgeous views and perfect autumn ambiance!!"

"We were a family of 6 and one small dog. We loved the view from the balcony and the cabin was very comfortable for 6 people. Overall it was great! The only downside is that the pots need to be replaced for new ones. "
