"Staff is very responsive and attentive. Having an in room onsen is great so that we can take a dip in it any time we like. Although the property is a little out of the way, they can always take you to near by bus or train station upon request. Dinner and breakfast are served inside the room. You sit on the floor and the table is about 12-14" high. Sitting cross leg may be uncomfortable to those who are not used to it. Getting up from that sitting position may be difficult for some."

But the thing with the public baths is that you’re with other people who don’t know the bath etiquette— meaning there’s going to be lots of long hair floating in the women’s bath and people who don’t scrub down before getting in.
