"I would have given this hotel 20 stars if I could have. The location was outstanding, the staff was incredible and the amenities were stellar ! We were in Boston to see Fenway Park, and honestly every hotel is expensive, but if you can afford to stay at the Commonwealth Hotel, PLEASE DO IT !!! Spend even a little more to stay there. It just so happened to be patriots weekend as well as the 250th anniversary of Paul Reveres ride so the city was packed. But the hotel was quiet and the staff was exceptional. Jeff at the front door was unbelievably helpful and so friendly. There was a complimentary coffee service in the morning, and a sparking and still water station set up all day. The hotel restaurant is Blue Ribbon, which I have been eating at in NYC since the 90s. There is a Starbucks nearby and a Dunkin’ Donuts as well. Everything is walkable from the hotel, especially the campus at Boston University, where we walked around and got to choose between a dozen different kinds of food options. I cannot remember a stay as pleasant as this one, in a very long time. "
