"Great stay. Hot water was off but we reached the host and initially used a nearby property to shoeer then ours was fine. The road is very remote and difficult to traverse in rain and bad weather. Overall a great stay."

"This was a great VRBO rental just as described. The host ensured an easy check in, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, spices, and coffee. There is plenty of seasoned firewood that we used in the outdoor fire pit. The large wrap around porch makes for great relaxing while enjoying the quiet outdoors. The grill, hot tub and appliances all worked well. One suggestion would be to add a ground cover like mulch around the firepit as the ground was pretty soft dirt in the back yard. "

"Perfect spot for a peaceful holiday in nature. Great location for walking trails and cycling. We also enjoyed spending time in Brevard. It's a lovely welcoming town with lots of creative vibes and a great bookshop. Earth Mountain Bicycle (bike hire/shop), Brevard Yoga Studio and Brevard Pottery are all highly recommended. "

"This property had everything we needed and more. The kitchen was impressively stocked with a wide assortment of dishes and appliances. The instructions left in the cabin we super helpful when it came to navigating the hot tub and for checkout. We felt secluded and safe. It was everything we had hoped for in a perfect mountain getaway. "

The large fenced backyard was a great feature for our Collie to play in. This was our third visit to this house and are looking forward to another stay. "Lake lure took a big hit to the storm. But this cabin had all we needed to keep us occupied during our stay. Restaurants and some shops are open. Loved how everyone is so open to helping each other. House was so lovely, owner was very accommodating. Anytime I had a question. I texted him personally. He responded very quickly. I highly recommend this house. We will come back."
