"A delightful old house, beautifully converted and with a splendid pool. We had the pool heated and it was really warm in April so the children spent hours in it. The village is charming with a restaurant and a brilliant shop that has everything and is open on bank holidays, evenings, Sundays. Our children loved 'Reptisland' a reptile sanctuary where they could cuddle snakes and lizards and learn about them. They went three times! We all enjoyed the honey museum and olive oil museum and the Mili walk downhill was a huge success, even with our 4 year olds. We ended in a village where a St Georges ceremony was happening and were invited to share the lamb stew! Antonios' family who manage the property were amazing: one of the rings on the hob didn't work and they had a new hob installed the next day!"

"Stunning property in a beautiful location. Had all we could need for a family stay with an infant. Managers were prompt to respond to questions and requests and owner very accommodating. Especially grateful for support when Dad became ill. There is just a couple of tiny signs of wear and tear on the building but no issues affecting our stay which was very comfortable and enjoyable. Can highly recommend the private chef linked with the villa. We had a family meal to try local cuisine. One of the best meals ever had. "

"A lovely peaceful villa in a great location - 5mins from main road through Crete for exploring the island. This villa was very well appointed every time we thought oh that would be useful we found it in a drawer or a cupboard everything had been thought of! Xenia and Poppy were really helpful nothing was too much trouble from extra blankets to pool lights on a bit earlier if we asked it happened straight away. We had the pool heated and whilst it was still a bit chilly the children enjoyed it very much. We explored the south coast preveli beach, Rethymno old town was beautiful, we had many happy hours wandering the little streets, and our favourite karavosatasi beach in Bali! Clear seas, pedalos or kayaks for hire to visit cave beach next door only accessible by sea and lovely family restaurant."

"I cannot impress upon people how idillic this villa is. It is set near a very small village with peaceful, beautiful surroundings. The villa itself has all the amenities one would require, and the inside is is fabulous condition. There was a maid service twice a week and she did a marvelous job keeping the 5 star villa clean and today. Highly recommend this place for anyone planning a holiday to Crete. "

"What a terrific hideaway this was. It provided the perfect base to explore Crete and a calm hillside haven to come back to each night. It was so well positioned to explore the island from, the house was really well presented and had all we needed. the host was wonderfully helpful and friendly and the pool was the icing on the cake. "The villa is as described and was perfect for our stay 6 girls. The out door area is superb and everywhere is really clean. The sunbeds are amazing !! If you want to visit a few places I would advise a car as the taxis can be a bit pricey. However the taxi company are super reliable and friendly we were given the number on arrival by the villa host. The supermarket is a 5 minute walk note villa is on a steep hill. The communication with the villa host is fantastic every questions was answered within an hour or less and was always friendly and accommodating. I would really recommend this villa if you are after a relaxing holiday and a quiet peaceful stay as there is not lots to do which was what we were after. The beach is 20 minutes by car and is really nice Evita beach is gorgeous. The host recommended a food delivery which was supported local women in business and it was excellent in fact it lasted us 2 nights worth doing. We really had a fantastic holiday thank you Vicky and all the girls."
